Are you motivated by building your own client base, owning relationships end to end, and growing recurring revenue in a competitive B2B technology market?
Our client is a well-established UK technology solutions provider with c.50 employees and multi-million-pound turnover, operating at the intersection of IT infrastructure, cyber security, and managed services. We are their local sales recruitment partner and have been engaged to support growth driven by continued customer demand and planned expansion within their commercial sales team. They are now hiring an additional Business Account Manager to strengthen their capability across new business acquisition and long-term account development.

This role blends proactive prospecting with consultative solution selling, targeting UK-based private sector organisations typically ranging from 100 to 1,000+ users. You will engage IT decision-makers to understand risk, resilience, and infrastructure challenges, positioning solutions across storage, cyber security, cloud, backup and disaster recovery, alongside associated hardware and software. Success in the role is measured by gross profit generation, pipeline quality, and the ability to convert first-time buyers into long-term customers. Every account you win becomes yours to manage, retain, and grow, giving you genuine ownership of your commercial outcomes.

We are looking for an early to mid-career sales professional with around three to five years’ experience in B2B technology sales, ideally gained within an IT VAR, MSP, or technology solutions environment. You will be comfortable with outbound prospecting, commercially astute conversations, and selling to IT and business stakeholders. This role suits someone who enjoys autonomy, treats their desk like a business, and is motivated by progression through performance rather than tenure. Strong organisation, resilience, and a consistent activity-driven approach are essential.

The company culture is professional, performance-focused, and supportive, with clear expectations and structured development. Career progression is transparent, with clearly defined earning grades, rising targets, and increasing OTE as performance builds. The role offers a basic salary of £25,000–£45,000 plus uncapped commission, hybrid working with two to three days per week in the Farnham office, and long-term career opportunity within a growing UK technology business.
