Are you ready to step out of a lead-generation role and take ownership of real discovery conversations across the UK and EMEA? - We are working exclusively with a well-established, international professional services organisation with a heritage dating back to the 1970s, employing circa 25 people across Europe and generating approximately €9m in European revenue. Due to continued growth and increased demand from mid-market and enterprise clients, our client has mandated us to appoint a Sales Executive to strengthen their London-based new business capability. This role is designed as a progression opportunity for a commercially minded sales professional who wants to move beyond SDR activity and into a full-cycle discovery and qualification position.

The Sales Executive will focus on identifying, engaging, and advancing new business opportunities with organisations typically employing between 1,000 and 5,000 people. Working closely with experienced senior account managers, you will lead discovery calls, uncover complex client challenges, and progress qualified opportunities through the early sales cycle. The role has a strong UK and Ireland focus, with approximately 15–20% of activity targeting German-headquartered organisations and wider EMEA prospects. This is a consultative, insight-led sales environment where quality conversations matter more than volume.

We are looking for a resilient, driven individual with circa two to three years’ experience in a sales development, inside sales, or junior business development role, ideally within learning and development, human capital management, or professional services. German language capability is strongly preferred, with additional European languages such as French highly advantageous, and you must be confident conducting professional conversations with senior stakeholders. You will be comfortable prospecting, managing objections, and stepping into discovery-led sales discussions rather than pure lead generation. Above all, this role suits someone ambitious, coachable, and motivated by progression into higher-value sales responsibility.

Our client offers a collaborative, professional culture with strong onboarding, clear sales methodologies, and direct access to experienced mentors within the business. The role is London-based with hybrid working, typically three days per week in the office, and regular exposure to international markets. Remuneration includes a base salary of £40,000–£50,000 with realistic first-year on-target earnings of £52,000–£65,000 plus benefits.
