Is your expertise in financial services ready to drive new business growth in an innovative, high-performance environment? We are working exclusively with a dynamic global leader in digital learning solutions for the financial services sector. With a team of over 200 employees worldwide, our client is rapidly expanding and looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their London-based sales team. This new role has been created as part of a broader growth strategy to capture new clients, particularly in retail banks, investment banks, merchant banks, and insurance sectors.
This exciting role will require a proactive, driven sales professional to engage with financial services institutions. You’ll be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business, building relationships, and driving significant revenue growth. With a strong focus on enterprise-level sales, you will work with decision-makers across large financial services organisations, offering solutions that address their training and compliance needs. Your success will be directly tied to achieving annual recurring revenue targets and contributing to the company’s growth.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in new business development, ideally within the financial services sector. Experience selling to large, complex organisations such as banks and insurance companies is highly preferred. You will need to be self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a target-driven environment, with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships at senior levels. A passion for challenging the status quo, combined with strong communication and negotiation skills, will set you apart.
Our client fosters a highly collaborative, results-driven culture, where career development and leadership opportunities are a priority. With a competitive base salary of £60,000 to £80,000 and first-year OTE of £100,000, earnings potential increases significantly in the second year, with top performers expected to double their basic salary. Benefits include healthcare, 22 days holiday, and access to international travel, along with ongoing learning opportunities. This is a predominantly London-based role, with some work-from-home flexibility, perfect for individuals who enjoy being based in the city.
