​Are you able to build a high-value, consultative sales engine in a founder-led business where credibility, insight and commercial drive are critical to winning enterprise clients? We are working exclusively with a high-growth advisory consultancy of circa 15 employees, generating revenues in the region of £2m, who are now entering a pivotal stage of scale. Having established strong market traction, they are looking to appoint a Head of Business Development to take ownership of revenue generation and commercial strategy. This hire is driven by the need to transition from founder-led sales to a structured, scalable approach that supports their next phase of growth.

This is a hands-on role where you will build pipeline from first principles, shape go-to-market strategy and lead complex, consultative sales cycles with senior stakeholders. You will engage with C-suite, HR and business leaders across large corporates, high-growth and private equity-backed environments, helping them solve leadership, performance and transformation challenges. Success will come from your ability to translate ambiguous client problems into tailored, high-value solutions that drive measurable outcomes. You will work closely with the Founder to create structure, discipline and repeatability across the commercial function.

We are open to individuals from either a commercial consulting or sales leadership background, provided you bring credibility and the ability to operate at a senior level. You will have experience selling advisory, transformation, leadership or talent-related solutions and be comfortable engaging in diagnostic, insight-led conversations rather than transactional sales. You may be a commercially minded consultant looking to step into a revenue leadership role, or a sales professional with exposure to complex, non-commoditised solutions. Above all, you will bring resilience, curiosity and the drive to build something in an environment where success is not handed to you.
