Technical Learning & Digital Transformation - Can you open doors into leading Financial Services organisations and turn complex transformation challenges into long-term strategic partnerships? CN Sales Recruitment has been mandated by an established learning technology and workforce transformation business employing more than 100 people, that has doubled in size over the last three years and continues to invest heavily in its commercial growth. As they expand their New Business team, they are looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Director to help accelerate growth across Financial Services, Insurance and Technology markets. This is an opportunity to join a highly respected organisation where consultative selling, commercial credibility and delivering measurable business outcomes are valued above transactional sales activity.
You'll own the complete enterprise sales cycle, identifying strategic opportunities, engaging senior decision makers and developing tailored learning and capability solutions that support large-scale business transformation. Working with C-suite executives, Chief Technology Officers, Chief Data Officers, HR Directors, Learning & Development leaders and operational stakeholders, you'll uncover complex business challenges before designing commercially compelling solutions alongside subject matter experts. Sales cycles are consultative and relationship-led, requiring the ability to influence multiple stakeholders while positioning technical learning as a strategic investment rather than a training purchase. Success will be measured by winning new enterprise clients, securing long-term framework agreements and building partnerships that generate ongoing revenue growth.
We're looking for an accomplished enterprise business developer with a track record of winning complex new business within Financial Services, Technology, Digital Transformation, Learning Technology, Professional Services or Consulting environments. You'll be comfortable engaging executive stakeholders, navigating matrix organisations and asking the questions that uncover the commercial, operational and technical challenges driving transformation programmes. Experience selling outcome-based solutions, enterprise software, consulting services, workforce transformation or technical learning programmes would be highly advantageous, particularly where you've managed long sales cycles and multiple buying committees. Most importantly, you'll be ambitious, commercially astute, naturally curious and motivated by building lasting client relationships rather than simply closing transactions.
In return, you'll join a collaborative, entrepreneurial organisation where commercial success is recognised and career progression is driven by performance rather than hierarchy. The package includes a basic salary of £85,000, an £40,000 performance bonus, uncapped accelerators for exceeding target, hybrid working with two days each week in a Central London office, together with UK and occasional international travel to clients and industry events. You'll work alongside experienced technical specialists and leadership teams who genuinely invest in helping clients transform their organisations through capability development and technology-enabled learning solutions.
